Master Class Series: Violin & Cello

The violin portion of this master class will be run by Marka Young. Marka Young is a violinist with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, the concertmaster of the Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra, and a violinist in the Handel and Haydn Society of the Greater Boston Area. She received her B.A in Music from Sarah Lawrence College and her M.A and DMA in Music Performance at the State University of Stony Brook.

The cello portion of this master class will be run by Susan Seligman. Susan Seligman is the principal cellist of the Hudson Valley Philharmonic. She has taught cello at Vaasar College, served as a faculty member of the Chamber Music Institute at Ithaca College, and currently lectures and teaches cello at the State University of New Paltz. Ms. Seligman was favorably reviewed in the New York Times for her performance in works of the late Robert Starer.
