All ages and abilities are welcome!
Drums will be provided, first come first serve. If you have a drum, bring it!
Paul is an avid percussionist and educator from Kingston, New York. He is an instructor of percussion, world music, and music theory at SUNY Ulster and SUNY New Paltz. He is an avid performer, researcher, and clinician of traditional African music. He studied in Ghana on three separate occasions and, in 2016, was awarded a Fulbright grant to document traditional music in South Africa. The resulting research is published in the academic journal African Music.
