Olga Pchelintseva-Mares (Piano)

Olga Pchelintseva-Mares is a classically trained pianist, guitarist and singer from Russia. Her passion for music started when she was five years old, when she heard the piano playing for the first time. The first musical piece that she heard was “Italian Polka” by S. V. Rachmaninoff and it was love from the first sound! She studied both in Russia and the United States. She has participated in many piano competitions in Russia and took several first prize distinctions. The United States gave her the opportunity to play at private parties and to teach students of all ages. She is a very detailed piano teacher, who pays attention to a wholesome education of her students from physical action on the piano to the mental and spiritual well-being of her students. She says:

“I’m a very passionate musician and try to convey my own understanding of music to my students. I do believe that every one of us has a talent for music, because talent is not just an ability to play or even to listen. Talent includes special love and passion for music. Passion is the key ingredient in every aspect of our lives. The rest is just a technique, which takes work, patience and time to develop. If you have this passion and not sure about your musical talent, please, call to find out.”
