This weekly, 30-minute long, introductory group violin class is designed especially for young children and their parents. The classes, using a combination of Suzuki and traditional methods, intend to:
– introduce students to the violin
– introduce students to some basic rhythmic patterns and note reading
– expose students to the skills required to play any stringed instrument
– create a small learning community made up of new young violin players and their families
Courses are held at our Ellenville location. Parental/guardian attendance is required. These are NOT drop-off classes!
Courses have a maximum enrollment of 4 preschool age students or 6 five to seven year old students.
