Siobhan Solberg began at an early age to show interest in teaching and working with children. Having been enrolled in both European and American school systems as well as being home-schooled since the sixth grade, Siobhan has been exposed to various methods of learning and teaching.
Throughout her teenage years, she apprenticed at various establishments working with younger children. Siobhan is the third generation of musicians and teachers in her family. She has been teaching in both the traditional and Suzuki methods as well as coaching string ensembles since 2000. She received her Suzuki training at the Hartford School of Music.
Siobhan is a graduate from Bard College, majoring in music performance and composition, and plays in various orchestras and ensembles in New York. She also teaches at Dutchess County Community College
